Guicciardini Strozzi `Vignare` Bolgheri Superiore

Guicciardini Strozzi `Vignare` Bolgheri Superiore 2011

Tasting Note:

Intense fruity blackberry and blueberry scents with slight spiciness of leather and tobacco. Structured with evident but very smooth tannins and a long finish. Bolgheri has become synonymous with the term super-Tuscan - that is wines made outside of the old DOC regulations using international varieties. The region now produces some of Italy's most fashionable and sought after wines. This is a blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah which lifts and adds perfumed notes.
